Reorder PDF Pages — Drag and Drop Thumbnails to Rearrange

The Reorder Pages tool at PDFGuru lets you visually rearrange the pages of any PDF. Each page renders as a thumbnail preview; you grab any thumbnail with your mouse and drop it into a new position. The page numbers update live as you drag. Hit "Apply New Order" to download a fresh PDF with the rearranged sequence.

This is the natural way to fix documents whose sections appear in the wrong order — a contract whose annexes need to swap places, an academic paper whose references page belongs before the methodology, a financial report whose summary should sit first instead of last. Visual reorder beats the alternative of typing "1,4,2,3,5" into a box and hoping you didn't miscount.

Because the entire operation runs through pdf-lib and pdf.js in your browser, the document never leaves your device. There is no upload endpoint and no third-party side channel. Confidential contracts, legal briefs, medical case files and finance statements stay entirely yours through the process.

The output preserves all embedded fonts, links, and metadata. Only the page sequence is changed — not a single pixel or character is altered. Output size remains byte-for-byte identical to the source when only the page order changes; the only edits are structural pointers in the PDF catalog.

Try the Reorder Pages tool above with any PDF — no signup, no per-day quota and absolutely no upload. You can also use the Remove Pages tool to delete unwanted pages, then come here to reorder what's left.

Reorder Pages — Frequently Asked Questions

Not yet — only one at a time. For multi-page moves, simply drag each one to its new position sequentially. PDFGuru does not impose a daily limit; reorder as many documents as you need.
Yes — only the page order changes. Embedded fonts, images, links, bookmarks and text content are preserved exactly as in the source.
Restriction-only PDFs work. PDFs that require a user password to open will fail — there is no password-recovery flow.
Rendering thumbnails depends on your machine. For a 100-page PDF the thumbnails take a few seconds to appear; the reorder itself is instant.
